Vogue, April 2020 – Styled by Camilla Nickerson Photography by Tyler Mitchell
I am so honored to be featured in the April issue of Vogue, which celebrates the global runway, and different beauty ideals from all over the globe. Since my brand’s inception, I have made diversity and inclusion an integral fibre of our DNA. #StrongerInColour is more than an ethos, it is a commitment to championing a diverse and global representation of beauty that seeks to break down barriers and traditional norms. Our goal is to make people feel seen, validated, and like their existence matter. We use our collections and our platforms as a vehicle to drive the global conversation around these issues, and open up seats at the decision making table to include more diverse voices. Kerolyn Soares is pictured here wearing a denim dress from our Spring 2020 collection. Kerolyn is from Brazil, and is redefining the Brazilian beauty ideal, she tells Vogue: “For so long there was such a narrow idea of what Brazilian beauty looked like, but it’s much bigger than this blonde, green-eyed image. There are so many girls who look like me, and I feel proud to represent for them.”
