Met Gala 2025: Superfine: Tailoring Black Style

The 2025 Met Gala took place on May 5th with its theme "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," which explores the importance of sartorial style to the formation of Black identities. 

Prabal Gurung dressed multiple muses for the event, including Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Diljit Dosanjh, Precious Lee, Nicole Scherzinger, Shakira, Tessa Thompson, and Amanda Furhman.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: Atelier Prabal Gurung Scarlett Duchesse Satin Ballgown Hand Embroidered with Duchess Satin Mini Bows and ties, Hand Embroidered Ostrich Feather Cuff, Petal Peplum, and Watteau Train

Diljit Dosanjh: Atelier Prabal Gurung Ivory and Gold Silk Brocade Sherwani with Marori, Aari, Dabka, and delicate French knots hand embroidery with Ivory and Gold Silk Brocade tailored pants.
